What a happy coincidence! My first animation project ever I produced with my own new solar panels was for Green Planet Energy! For more than 15 years I use 100% renewable energy, but now not coming from the grid anymore, but from the roof of my studio.
Supporting "In Bester Gesellschaft" und "Rakete Bildproduktion" to create this amazing campaign was a blast. In cooperation with Studio Huckepack we created the animations transferring Huckepacks unique 2D style into 3D paper cutouts.
This project also marks a milestone in my personal workflow. For more than 15 years I always worked with 100% renewable energy. But this project was the first one produced with approximately 99% electricity, coming from my own solar panels.For me, this shifts sustainability from an abstract value to something measurable: every render, every export, and every iteration ran mostly on self-generated solar power.
